Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil which is extracted from soybeans. The hydrogenation process converts some the the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. This process alters the melting point of the oil, makes it a solid at room temperature.

Applications

For making candles, soy wax has a longer burning time.  Its soft makes it suitable for container candles.  Easy demoulding distribution, evenness of colours, no cracking, no off cup, and no smoke when burning.
